GreenGroups Requirements

Bluegrass GreenGroups is for Education, Government, Non-Profit and Community Organizations. The only requirement is that the group is interested in “greening up” their internal operations and programs, educating themselves about how to accomplish this, and networking with other groups who share these interests.

Examples of green internal operations and programs are:

Saving Energy or Using Cleaner or Renewable Energy

Reducing Resource Use, Waste and/or Pollution

Using or Promoting Locally Grown, Produced and Distributed Products

Using or Promoting Organic, Fair Trade or Sustainably Produced Products

Promoting Healthier, More Holistic or Less Toxic Products, Services or Lifestyles
